Am trying the looooong way around. Have deleted all the images I don’t want in the first gallery and have uploaded the first gallery without these images.
Now I am uploading the next batch of images. I suspect it will include the first batch in the second gallery, and even worse, it will add the second batch to the first gallery when I “save all changes”.
Hrrrmmppppph! But I persevere …

It would seem if you say, “Multiple galleries per post” it implies you can display images 1-10 in gallery 1, 11-20 in gallery 2, and so on.
I read it that way, too. Not being someone who works with code, it had no ambivalent meaning for me.
