@champsupertramp Thanks for the offer. I’m not sure if there is a PHP version or not. For now, I’ll use the workaround to move the checkbox outside of the UM form.
@champsupertramp As you have seen on my test page, I can and will do as you suggested. However, I don’t think this is an issue with analytics. The checkbox selection in this case creates or removes a cookie. My inclination is this issue will happen anytime a non-UM checkbox is used within the UM form whether it is directly in the form or hidden in a link within the form.
@champsupertramp I have tracked down the issue. Within my policy page, I have the option for the user to opt-out of web analytics tracking. This is performed by a checkbox. If this checkbox is part of the UM form, the Register button does not work.
To make this easy to see and test, I have made the web analytics checkbox visible on the UM form. Please see the test page I have created. One link has the checkbox within the UM form (Register button does not work); the other has it outside of the UM form (Register button works).

Please review and let me know if there is a possbile fix for UM or if I need to move the opt-out checkbox outside of the UM form.
Thanks again in advance for your help and support.
@champsupertramp The plugin which appears to be causing the conflict is “Matomo Analytics – Ethical Stats. Powerful Insights.”. It is a web analytics plug-in.
@champsupertramp I just disabled all plugins except UM. The register button is now working. I will reactive one plugin at a time now to determine which one is causing the conflict. I had previously tried disabling all plugs except UM. Guess this time I truly disabled all. Thanks for the guidance.
@champsupertramp Version 2.1.15
@champsupertramp Theme changed to Twenty Twenty. Register button still not working. Staging link is https://14a5ce4425.nxcli.net/register/
@champsupertramp I have setup a Staging environment and have disabled all recently added plugins and reset to the theme where the register button previously worked. No change. The button still doesn’t work. You can try it at https://usjusttalking.com/register/
Just click with with no data entered, there is no error checking or anything happening. It just turns lighter in color and does nothing. You’ll notice at the bottom of the form, I have put a workaround in place until I get this resolved.
If you have any suggestions, let me know. Thanks in advance.
@purecc I am a user like you. I am having the same problem on my website. If you find out how to fix it, please let me know.
Same problem here. Hopefully we’ll get a quick resolution.
