@photosbyhaglund and @cais, sorry I’ve made confusion with image-browser, that has a a similar sentence.
My bad!@photosbyhaglund and @cais, that string is available for translation in .po file. I know because I’m using the Italian localization file translated by myself.
@marknaseck, you can delete it from “Manage Album”
@jason – NoCoward.com, I understand your good intentions, but jump into someone else’s topic with its own different issue does not help, indeed messes up and defeats the answers of who is trying to help who, in addition, have to spend more time to answer to another person.
These issues are at 99,9% site’s specific.
Also, troubleshooting must be done with a default WordPress theme, not another theme.
For your issue, please carry on your own topic, as per the forum rules.@aus Digital Media, you can set a lightbox effect under Other Options > Lightbox Effect.
@aus Digital Media, at that link I don’t see an album nor an image-browser display, but a gallery in a basic thumbnail display. Have you tried to set another lightbox effect, as shutter or fancybox?
Also that “index.php” in your permalink could be the cause of the issue.@joannagu, “internal server error” is a generic message. As the message says, maybe you can have more information about what happened looking at the server error log, so you have to ask your service provider for this.
You did well to download the plugin on your computer, because you can upgrade it via FTP – apart from investigate the cause of the issue (maybe a low php memory limit, or some other limit in your server configuration) – you don’t lose anything deactivating plugins, but there is no need to deactivate.
Upload via FTP the plugin files in the /wp-content/plugins/ directory, overwriting them.@angelpure, the suggestion to change the permalinks is valid only for those who currently use the default structure. If it were not so, it would be not suggested.
And this is one of the reasons why everyone should open its own topic, to avoid confusion to who needs help and also to who wants to help. So, forget the other topic.
The first thing you have to try is this:
Deactivate all plugins (including NextGEN Gallery), clear your browser cache and reload your site. Re-activate NextGEN Gallery only and try uploading again.
If doesn’t work, try temporarily switching to the WordPress default theme, and try uploading again.@nicolas T., in fancybox the description text is centered *under* the image (inside the white border) by default.
I don’t know if I understand what you mean with “right side”, but if you want to align the text to the right you can do it with CSS.fancybox-title-inside { text-align: right; }@christine Cobb, You can display the image title only in flash basic slideshow, selecting “show navigation bar”.
With Pro/Plus you can display the image title, but for any question concerning Pro/Plus you need to contact directly the plugin author here.@tommyball, For what I know, it is not possibile.
I think you should revise from now on the way you insert pictures in posts, i.e. using a shortcode in which you can choose the images to display by their id.@trevormwilson, the other one (the “black one”) is not a NextGEN effect, but it comes from “Photoswipe”, probably a script added to your theme.
@collettivog8, Have you tried to set a non-default permalink, as “post name” or “month name”?
@angelopampalone, If this is a support request, please read this in order to give all information requested.
Saying “unable to ad images” is not helpful to investigate the issue.@deenymac, In your wp-content folder there should be a folder called “gallery” which contains folders for each gallery you create.
If there is no “gallery” folder inside wp-content, create one and set the permissions so the web user can write to it. Generally those permissions should be equivalent to 0755 for folders and 0644 for files, but it may also depends on your service provider.
