@canu This is the excerpt generated by WordPress in your example:
Re-live or enjoy if you werenβt there, Super Bowl held in the Met Life stadium, the perfect celebration venue. [Show slideshow] 1234789βΊ
As @cais noted, if you want to see a different text you have to manually write the excerpt for the post.
Mine was an addition, to tell you that you can do it in the place I have referred above. Probably you’ve never seen it because you don’t have that field selected, or maybe you have the field visible but you ain’t never noticed it: from what you say in this topic I believe that one of the two has happened.
This wanted to be only a little help, of course it has nothing to do with NextGEN and even with your theme (unless there’s an option for summary, but the author would’ve told you), but is a native WordPress function.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Leaf] Background doesn't loadYou’re welcome.
No man here πForum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Leaf] Background doesn't loadYou need to set Leaf Options > Theme Layout > boxed
@canu If you don’t see “summary” field in post editor maybe it’s because you haven’t selected it. Look up to the right in post editor, click the arrow for screen settings and check “summary”.
@adrian33000 I still see “show slideshow link” 1, so it comes from somewhere. Can you post here that shortcode?

In reply to: [Leaf] Text Not loading1 – The site you’ve linked above uses an album and the lightbox is opened directly from there because they have made heavy edits to the code of the Nextgen legacy version, and they have integrated a third-party plugin. Here is described exactly as they did. That’s what you asked for when you opened the topic.
Now, if you don’t want the album, well don’t put it, I don’t understand what the problem is, the problem is if you want to do as the site you linked above.
Insert the galleries in the pages and the lightbox will open from there. http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/help/2 – It seems to me that you didn’t read the links that you were given. @cais gave you this where you can find shortcode examples. But, unless you want to use the shortcode for the cases described in that page (read it, please), if you simply want to display the galleries use the Nextgen ATP button, the one you see in the visual view of the post/page editor. When you open that, you should be able to select the setting you prefer.
3 – I don’t know anything about Landscape theme. If anything, it’s you who should tell us if you have issues with that theme in particular. You can test with a WP default theme.
@beelzebomb Try to re-mapping localhost port to 80
3 columns of thumbnails each thumbnail is from different gallerys
This can be an album, but you can’t open the lightbox directly from the album, first you have to open the gallery.
From there you can open an image of the gallery with lightbox and arrows to navigate through the gallery.
In short: Album > Gallery > Images
http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/help/@thompsonswebservice You don’t lose anything activating the default theme, at most when you’ll return to the current theme you will have to settle again widgets
@adrian33000 I see in your page source that you have selected 25 images per page and also I see “show slideshow link” with value 1 that means “yes”.
Have you checked in your page editor via ATP function? You if have those values selected there, they overwrite the general ones.@abnet PluginsTalk Bar is discontinued
@sparkfire For these reasons, it’s impossible to help you:
– You said you have NextGen up to date but it’s not true, now you have a legacy version, 1.9.13
– You have a very old WordPress version, you need to upgrade right now, after backing up whole site
– Your gallery images aren’t displayed by NextGen, lightbox also comes from a third party plugin
– Your have such a lot of plugins, and at 99% you are experiencing a theme/plugin conflict
– Switch your theme to the WP default theme and deactivate all plugins is a necessary basic test, specially in your case.@butchersoldboys have you tried to clear browser cache, or to clear image cache with the button in Other options?
