@cwhit, activate a WordPress Twenty series theme just to see if you have the same issue also with a WordPress default theme. If you don’t have any issue with the default theme, it means that is an issue of your current theme, not NextGEN’s.
Fancy-box is a lightbox effect, and @cais asked if the problem occurs also with another effect among those listed in the drop-down menu.@jason – NoCoward.com, for your own issue open your own topic, as per the forum rules.
@jason – NoCoward.com, add this in CSS custom area
.ngg-galleryoverview {text-align:center;} div.ngg-gallery-thumbnail-box {float:none;display:inline-block;}@stevef3000, The photos are not cut off, I see them in their entirety on Chrome, Firefox and IE. If you mean that you have to scroll down to see them fully, this is only because they are very large in size.
O.T.:
Regarding the header that remains fixed, this is a feature of your theme, then you have to ask to the theme author how to change that behavior with CSS, e.g. setting a negative value to z-index, or change the position property.
But this is a theme related matter, moreover it’s a premium theme, and these forums don’t support commercial products.@stevef3000, I see the images completely. With what browser do you see them cut off?
@stevef3000, where is the NextGEN display cut off in that page?
@murkywaters, have you tried with a different lightbox effect, as fancy-box or shutter?
@il_magnus, Yes, you forgot to explain the beginning of the issue. It’s not clear if all worked well before, and when album preview stopped working, in other words when the problem or problems (there are more than one?) started, after which action (upgrade?).
We aren’t in your installation, or in your back-end, the questions are less obvious than you think, and nobody is trying to “going away”, only trying to understand.
Probably you don’t have “set everything in the right way”, you have done something wrong in your not-so-clear passages to uninstall and re-install, or elsewhere.
It seems an URL path issue. Do you have a custom path, a custom folder? The thumbnails have the right path, the preview don’t.
Where does /nuovo/nextgen-image/11/91×68/crop/ come from? You have to investigate on this.
In regards at the IGW issue isn’t even clear what relation has with the album’s thumbnail issue.
If the IGW button doesn’t work could be a conflict with the theme or plugins, so did you try the standard troubleshooting, that you surely know with the experience you say you have?@aw240779, with the invisible character, ALT 160. Not a NextGEN gallery question, anyway.
@il_magnus, And, did you choose a “preview image” in Manage Galleries > Gallery?
@newshop, that’s fine.
@newshop Why “without brackets”? *With* brackets, without spaces.
@giova_kde, please, look at my previous screenshot.
Lo vedi il percorso sotto, nella zona nera?
È pure in italiano.
Si vede chiaramente che c’è evidenziato ***Pagine > Tutte le pagine > Pagina della galleria***
Una volta aperta la pagina che ti interessa, lo vedi quel bottone verde nell’editor visuale? Dovresti averlo già adoperato.
Anche aprire il link che ti ho dato sopra ti aiuterebbe.@jay Plesset, I see the borders in both the slideshows, the only difference is that in the second one it’s thinner.
Some thoughts:
It appears that you are using a plugin, WP Image Borders, e.g. in the thumbnails page I see two borders on images, one of NextGEN by default and maybe one from the plugin (the effect is not very nice, IMO), so you should first search in that plugin why they are different in slideshow view (if the plugin can handle flash objects…)Anyway, those borders aren’t responsive (regardless of the fact that the flash slideshow isn’t responsive too), you can see by yourself resizing the screen (right and bottom borders disappear), so sooner or later you will need to look for another solution to avoid that ugly effect:
– with CSS, using jquery slideshow (borders, + width / height at 98% for responsiveness)
– give up borders if you want to use the flash slideshow, or
– use some media queries to remove borders in responsive view@misteradamello, read the theme instructions / look at the theme options to figure out how to disable the action over the NextGEN lightbox, and/or ask the theme author.
It’s not a NextGEN issue.I do not have that option
