Have since changed theme to ‘Maker’ and mobile menu is working well.

Seems to be a theme problem, did post on the theme’s forum but no answer, it’s a simple minimal site so changed theme to my 2nd preferred theme ‘Maker’ and mobile menu working great.

@weboccults the only major change to the theme I have made was to remove the footer. Not sure if removing the footer would effect the masthead mobile navi, but yes will reach out to the theme forum.
