So just to confirm; Hostgator File Manager can be used to delete a damaged theme instead of a FTP client?

I just tried it and it went well. Now I need to figure out how to get a Twenty Eleven Child theme.
The FTP client is useful for other purposes though, is that correct?
Used to be that FTP was all there was for moving files.

The hostgator chat support wait is just about always 30 minutes, and sometimes it will be not a productive interaction.

I resize images according to guidelines in the dashboard ( for example 288 X 1000) and the images are way to big.
It happens with all the themes I’ve tried. The current theme is Twenty Eleven.

On the current page version I am learning with,
I am unable to remove the two search bars;
the Nothing Found;
and the archives meta site and log in
I’m thinking I can block these off in the script.

I want to learn where all these things are and add them back selectively.

When find sponsors(advertisers) for my site, will this theme allow banner or whatever other forms of advertising is being currently used?

The plan is to post tests using a service called classmarker. Will it work with this theme?

I have a little experience with HTML but not CSS.

I just looked at my profile, and did not see a link to my webpage. I got to figure out how to have that appear.

So I finally woke up.
Adding the child theme is like adding any other theme by using the dashboard.
All the themes show on there and it is easy to add one and upload it, in this case it was in my web stuff folder on gdrive.
So it shows it is active but so far no noticable difference to my page.

Thankyou for taking the time to hep me with my issue.
When I point my browzer to http://www.securitytechmaster.com/wp-content/themes the screen remains blank. I would expect a login pop up.My site is really not fit to be seen yet.
