ok i found out how to reinstall and did that – no change except that the comments are back on.
– how to delete the ‘leave a reply’ (in appearance > discussion settings i unchecked teh ‘allow comments’ box, to no avail. and i can’t see where i can change comment settings on individual pages?
– how can i make my pages reappear normally, not one after the other on the same page?
how do i reinstall the theme?
i’m aware i should be working with a child theme bu haven’t found the time to figure out what’s wrong with the one i’ve been trying to establish… now i need to do this emergence fix before i go back to working on the child theme.
the ‘allow comments’ boxes were all unchecked..
