Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Changing title on browser tabI have a related problem: I often have ten Edit Page < This Blog or Edit Page < That Blog tabs open in my browser, and those tab titles don’t tell me which is which.
I can use a favicon to distinguish blogs, so I would really, really like those browser tabs to tell me something usefully specific, like the Post/Page title, e.g., [fav] Ed: Ratatouille or [fav] Ed: Bouillabaisse. That way, even when I have lots of tabs open and they’re truncated to [f]Ed: Rat or [f]Ed: Bou I can see at a glance what I’m doing.
I’ve tracked this down far enough to see that edit_item holds part of the solution, but at least in my themes, edit_item gets buried in arrays inside of arrays.
If anyone can shine even a little light into this darkness, I would really appreciate it!

In reply to: [Post By Email] Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_slash()Thanks Kat,
I’m in 3.6.
Thanks for the WP_DEBUG tip.
Ah!, I thought “generate” was like “generate an SSL key”…I suppose I would have figured out it means “Generate a random PIN” soon enough if I had had WP_DEBUG on.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Post By Email] Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_slash()Whoops! IMAP didn’t generate Fatal Errors; I just couldn’t configure it to connect. I use an off-brand mail server (Ability), so don’t waste too much time worrying about the IMAP failures.
