I’m having the same problem, and I am also receiving the same error message in the preview pane area while composing the message. Did you find a solution to this?
Figured out the problem was with the floating bits. I ended up doing what I’m sure is a disgrace in the footer code by first opening and closing the footer div class, leaving it blank, and then adding the navigation code + then the real footer code. It fixed the free float problem in Safari and so far hasn’t turned up any new ones. We’ll see… 🙂
