In reply to: I lost my site through a theme I installedI have restored the site.
What would be the exact css code to put in the <HEAD> section of the 2010 Weaver theme in the advanced options section, to make the borders of my tables solid.
It says to insert the text between style codes so I have put
<style =”#content tr td {
border-top: 1px solid #e7e7e7;
padding: 6px 24px”></style>
Is this what I am doing wrong?My table is here

In reply to: Table border is not visible in public viewI have taken the css code off. I downloaded Firefox sync. I have the same issue in Firefox as I have in Safari. I can see the borders in the admin but they aren’t visible on the site.
I have tried adding and changing css code to fix the issue but none of it works. I don’t know what to anymore, I have spent 3 days trying to see borders in a table.

Is anyone able to help me figure out how to make the border solid (both around and within each cell)

In reply to: Table border will not show upI added this code to the bottom of the stylesheet.
Then I added this code into my html on my page<table id=”mytable”>
followed by the rest of the tablenothing happened
then I added
<table id=”mytable” border=”3″ bordercolor=”000000″ bgcolor=”FFFFFF” cellspacing=”1″ cellpadding=”1″>
followed by the rest of the table and I have now lost everything I did, it turned to code that I don’t understand. I can’t even add a link to this page now. I am trying to recover an oder draft.What am I doing wrong?

In reply to: Table border will not show upI have no idea how to do this. I know that I go to the editor section and it says Stylesheet but what do I do. I don’t want to mess up my theme.

In reply to: Uploaded images won't show upThank you, I figured out the problem. It works when I deactivate the WP Super Pop Plugin. Thanks again.

In reply to: Uploaded images won't show upIt is currently going to wp-content/uploads. I believe this is what it has always been. When I try to upload a file into the media folder it says that it is an invalid file. No matter what image I choose it says this. Even with images that worked perfectly in the past.

In reply to: Can't log in and my website is downI reactivated the plugins and set the permalink and I can log in to wordpress and see all the pages and the pagelinks and everything is working really well.
The problem came because I was forwarding themysticallights.com to the wordpress area. I reset the forward on the mysticallights.com so that it goes to the wordpress page I want it to go but it is currently giving me a “forbidden 404” message. I am hoping that it just needs to reset itself to go to the right location.
The wordpress address I am trying to set as the forward location is coming up as “temporarily unavailable” even though I know that the other pages and the site and admin is still working.
Do you know if this something that sometimes happens in this circumstance?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Can't log in and my website is downThere was one at the root of the site! I changed it and now I can access the admin again and the site is working and back online!!! I would like to set my permanent link back to my custom setting and reactivate plugins. Is this possible? Do I need to do something else first? Do I need to delete the .htaccess in the root?

In reply to: Can't log in and my website is downI found the “.htaccess” file and renamed it “.wp-htaccess” but it’s still doing the same thing. It didn’t resolve it

In reply to: Can't log in and my website is downI have deactivated the plugins.
The site url and home url are both correct.
Trying to change the permanent link settings to default made it worse and changing them back to custom setting locked me out of the admin area with the Safari message.I have no idea what is wrong with the site. I can’t access the admin folder at all and it just keeps brings up this message from safari http://themysticallights.com/wordpress “Too many redirects occurred trying to open … This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page”.
I have no idea why or what is redirecting the site??

In reply to: Can't log in and my website is downI’m not sure that I’m doing this right. I’m very new to this. It’s not working, I get a message saying ‘broken pipe’, ‘unable to rename’.
