In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] StaticsHi again!
The “Win” column might be in the trash (there’s a small text link at the top, when you click View All). If it’s not there, you will need to create it again.
Regarding multiple matches, you’ll need to create an event for every match. (“Events” is just another name for “Matches” or “Games”).
That being said, you can still create groups of events using league or seasons. I recommend using Seasons, so an example would be to create a season called “Day 1” and add all Day 1 events to that season. Then, create a calendar using that season which can be displayed to show all events from that day 🙂

In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] how to ?Hmm.. the calculation for Games Won (gameswon = $win ) would only add all of the times “Win” was selected for his team. So, if you select “Draw”, that would not add +1 to Games Won. You can select multiple outcomes per event which might help.
Hi Phill,
Thanks for your detailed feedback. I totally agree with you. I think your solution would work perfectly for teams that are one-time appearances. We’ll also look into adding an option to create teams without full profiles.
The next major update (version 0.9) is due next week so we’ll try to work it in by then. I’ll keep you posted 🙂

In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] how to ?Hi kev,
This image shows that the outcome is set to Draw for both teams. Did the player win this match or was it a draw?

In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] how to ?Hi kev,
It looks like Games Lost has a duplicate, perhaps in the trash? You can check by going to SportsPress > Settings > Configure > Player Statistics > View All > Trash. Permanently deleting the duplicate may solve the issue. If not, check to make sure that both matches have outcomes set.
Regarding removing sidebars, if your theme has a Full Width page template you can paste the shortcode into a new page and change the template to full width.
Let me know if the above solution works for you.

In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] automatic eventsHi there,
SportsPress includes a CSV import tool which you can use to bulk import events. To use the tool, go to Tools > Import and click SportsPress Events (CSV).
You can download a sample to get started. Be sure to use the date format YYYY/MM/DD before uploading the CSV file to ensure the dates are saved correctly.
Hope this helps!

You’ll need to add a new result. Go to SportsPress > Settings > Configure and under “Team Results” click “Add New”. Then, enter “Goals” as the name and publish.

Let’s have a look at your configuration. Could you go to SportsPress > System Status and paste the output here?

In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] how to ?Hi kev,
Glad to hear that 🙂
Regarding player stats, does each player always play 2 frames every match? If this is the case, an easy solution would be to edit the “Frames Played” statistic and change the equation to “Events Played x 2”.
Let me know if this solution works for you.

In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] Adding a New Sport to the PluginHi Stu,
Good evening! Glad to hear that you’re getting a hang of using the plugin 🙂
Regarding rounds, the easiest way to add these would be to create child seasons. Basically, create a parent season (2014) and then select that season as the Parent when creating rounds (which would also be seasons).
It might also be a good idea to change the display text. You can do this by going to SportsPress > Settings > Text, scroll down to where it says “Season” and enter “Round”.
I hope this makes sense! Feel free to let me know if you have any questions 🙂

D = Draw

A = Goals ←
GD = Goals → – Goals ←
PTS = 3 x Win + DrawThanks, glad to hear that!
The first production release (v1.0) is scheduled for later this month 🙂

In reply to: [SportsPress - Sports Club & League Manager] how to ?Hi limatorreon,
I recommend setting up the equations as:
Matches won = Win
Drawn matches = Draw
Matches lost = Loss
Goals for = Goals →
Goals against = Goals ←
Goal difference = Goals → – Goals ←
Points = 3 x Win + DrawYou can modify the points equation if your league calculated points differently.
I hope this helps!
