Basically, the new WordPress versions are incompatible with PHP version 5.2, which your account was using. I update your PHP version to use 5.3 instead to resolve this.
I also am hosted with Web Hosting Hub and have been fighting this same problem for weeks since updating to 3.7.1. I have done almost verbatim the exact steps you have taken with the result being 404. I also cleared my cache. I’ve been using WP for almost 2 years now and have never had this much trouble. I have been unable to get ANY resolution to the problem. I’m going to be watching your post like a hawk for a solution, otherwise I may be changing hosts. I have had multiple problems with changes Web Hosting Hubs made to their service and I believe they are contributing to the problem we are having.
