In reply to: Image gallery customizationHey there,
Thanks for the reply! I’d like to create my theme to be all-inclusive and keep reliance on third party components to a minimum. While certain circumstances deem this unavoidable, like when using a carousel, I think my tiled layout is definitely doable.
Part of the reason is compatibility and ease of use. For instance, when I installed jetpack just now I was able to get it working, but not right out of the box. As well as that, the tiled magazine layout still won’t cooperate and configuration toggles that documentation alleges are there aren’t.
get_the_post_thumbnail seems promising. Thanks for your help.

In reply to: javascript loading but not calling input idsi take it back. the script wasn’t actually loading properly. the reason i was getting an alert stating it was was because i was calling a function from another script file that was loading.
your question however guided me down the right path, so thanks.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] add to cart buttonnevermind, figured it out. thanks a lot!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] add to cart buttonit’s original placement is sortve irrelevant for what i’m attempting to do. what i’m attempting to do is omit it from the document altogether and use the blank button i added (that works as an add to cart) thats floated to the right of the price.
basically my question is where is the code exactly that puts that button there entitled ‘add to cart.’
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] add to cart buttonim not adding my own so much as im changing the location of theirs by copying the code found within the add to cart button’s template.php file to a different location. i uncovered little documentation aimed at a novice user pertaining to themeing the individual product page itself and with little knowledge of how wordpress operates found just simply adding to short-description.php with markup and php to be suitable enough for now.
heres what i have.
as you can see, the problem with this is adding to the page means creating elements in addition to what is already there, in my case that stray button you see in the lower left corner. as well as that there’s an additional price element that i have to get rid of as well.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Theming the individual product pagethanks so much for your help

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Theming the individual product pagethanks for the reply. after sortve skimming through the files last night and looking over everything i surmised as much. my question is, what pieces all the files together? is it wordpress itself, and every php script included in that directory gets stitched into the page, or is there a specific page within the woocommerce directory that sortve orchestrates everything.
again, thanks for the reply.
