question for you while i am reading these: do you have any tips for someone wanting to create a non-blog-like site using wordpress?

Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: 2.3.1 categories assistance with themeok, i think i have that working…now a minor tweak is necessary…
i have sections listed like so:
_e(‘Categories’)
_e(‘Archives’)
_e(‘Meta’), etcwhen i put the wp_list_categories under my _e(‘Categories’) i get something like this:
CATEGORIES (my section heading from _e())
Categories
Cat 1
Cat 2
i don’t need the second Categories since i have my section titled CATEGORIES…how do i remove that using wp_list_categories?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: 2.3.1 categories assistance with themewhen i go to my admin and add a category it gets put into the wp_terms table. these should be what was once called categories, correct? in my theme i have used the list_cats() function above, but this doesn’t show the items in the wp_terms table….so how do i modify my theme to show what i call categories (those listed in wp_terms)?
