In reply to: [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway] Apple Pay BugHere’s the loom-link
Are you a competitor that’s trashing this plugin?
What you are describing is a method to change the Woocommerce Core email functionality.
Your review is like saying that a Volkswagen Golf is a rubbish vehicle for off-road driving. That’s not an intelligent statement.
Mailpoet is a newsletter plugin that integrates with Woocommerce.
Because it has access to the Woocommerce DB, it integrates the best with Woocommerce compared to the likes of AWeber, Mailchimp,…Want to change the core functionality of WC emails? Look somewhere else.
Update: I just bit the bullet and tried it out on my live site. On my live site, it works.
I use WP-Staging to create a staging site for testing. Maybe this is worth pointing out in the FAQ that a staging installation might not work correctly.Hi Thomas,
I am at the exact same step.
How do I set up the FB pixel events in GTM4WP? Do you know a good step-by-step guide similar to your “setup enhanced e-commerce” guide.

In reply to: [WP-Stateless - Google Cloud Storage] Bugs. So. Many. Bugs.I’ve been thinking of ditching stateless too as I can’t afford to have issues with such a critical component.
The only thing that has stopped me so far is that I don’t know what else to do.
Won’t I run into the same issues with any other plugin?
I’ve had a look at a plugin that enables the Imgix service but it’s also free.I wish Stateless had a subscription option that would give the team more time to focus on quality. The “free” option really spooks me. I’m not a fan of free if it comes to business tools.
I hope that your post is a wake-up call for the developers. The plugin is too important to mess around with lightly.
I just found another incompatibility and this one is critical.
The Woocommerce Product Feed Pro plug-in canβt create a feed anymore.
My Google Shopping ads are down π@evavangelooven It is the plugin Stateless that is causing the issue.
They are working on a fix.If I switch it off, the feed works fine.
Thanks for looking into this.
Hi Eva,
Sorry for not posting straight away. I thought this info was in the debug file.
My server is a Google VM and I am running
PHP 7.1.22
MySQL 5.7.23
WP 4.9.8
Woocommerce 3.4.5
Stateless 2.1.7 (outsourcing images to Google cloud)Cheers,
EdwardGreat to see that you are on it. I will wait for the next release.
I solved the issue by chance.
If you fill out the fields for one product and then export all products using the default Woocommerce Import/Export function (you have to tick “export Meta”) you get the meta fields to import the data.
The Meta structure is
Meta: _woosea_<field name e.g brand, upc, ean,…>

In reply to: [WP-Stateless - Google Cloud Storage] multiple instances of an image createdI’ve been trying to replicate it and it seems to be caused by regenerating thumbnails.
I’m working with my life site and my dev site on the same bucket. Could it be because of this?
Is there by a way a good tool to sync the media library between life and dev site? Maybe that would solve the issue by having both libraries as exact copies.
@tonymanc Also works with the “Template” Widget. Just tested it. Can’t tell you though what the difference between the two is other than a nice drop-down field in the Template Widget to select the template.
I suppose the “Shortcode” Widget is designed to accommodate any shortcode while the Template Widget is designed to skip the copy and paste step
@tonymanc You don’t need the Anywhere Elementor Pro plugin any more if you have Elementor Pro.
A: Go to Elementor > My templates and create a section template or save a section as a template.
B: Copy the template shortcode on the right-hand side of the template listing
C: Take the “Shortcode” Widget in Pro and drag it into your content
D: Paste the template shortcode into the widget shortcode fieldI tested it 5 minutes ago and it works a charm.
Is there any way to optimise images after uploading to GC? I haven’t found anything so far and I would love to do it.

In reply to: [WP-Stateless - Google Cloud Storage] WoocommerceJust follow the setup instructions. It works with Woocommerce out of the box with standard settings.
