  • never mind i figured it out you need to check this in settings. Using complex characters for the product name can trigger the error: The price field may have been tampered. Security check failed. This option will stop that check and remove the error.

hey I am having a problem with my site shopping cart. might be after wp5.6 upgrade. I read through this thread but don’t have a clue what the answer is. I haven’t changed any shortcodes or done anything to the site in a long time. my php is updated. So would like to know what i need to do to fix this. It’s urgent, so any help would be appreciated. This is the error. “Error! The price field may have been tampered. Security check failed.
If this site uses any caching, empty the cache then try again.” Thanks

Okay. I haven’t tried the manual anymore. I love the automatic but I couldn’t get it to work in beginning I think it was because I was checking extra boxes like line break stuff and what not. So I was selecting manual and then going to the help button and it list them all in there and I just changed all from head to body except the first two js q ones. It was getting aggravating doing that everytime something updates you have to redo list with newer files. Now with automatic I just empty cache. I wish they was video breaking down what everything is and does. When I found this plugin It was a big learning curve for me with so many options and didnt really know what somethings did. I found some articles online on what is best way to set w3tc. Some worked some didnt.

No but I did turn it to automatic mode and it fixed it that way. But cant understand why it would not work on manaul mode but would with automatic mode. Will try what you said. Thanks
