I figured it out the problem is they way the theme was compressed (rar)
I compressed it in zip and was able to install it but now I can only
see the thumbnail of the theme when I activate it my site/blog shows
an error message.
I also tried uploading it through ftp to content/themes and I get the
same thing. I guess I’m going to have to select a new theme.
