Mistress Web, THANK YOU for your reply. Since i am creating this in headway themes it’s a blank template, i physically had to go to the front page in the visual editor and add a widget area (which i did do, but only to the page, not realizing that that specific page was directed from the front page setup), once i did that the sidebar appeared and i was able to add from there.. it appears i have to do this for all of the pages in the visual editor of Headway. which is actually better so i can customize each page. Without your reply i never would have thought to look. because all of the “areas” you listed simply don’t exist in my wordpress dash bc it’s custom.. so thank you! and thank you to contentiskey as well!
