In reply to: [Sydney] logo and menu alignment problem, sydney themeHi,
I already used the code you provided to make the logo larger. Worked like a charm, thanks! I am wanting to move it up just a bit. Is there an easy way to accomplish that. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated…Ian

In reply to: Keeping Footer On the Bottom of the PageHi,
Thanks again, for the response, but like I said in my post, I don’t know where to put any of this stuff. I assume that it is in the appearance>editor>stylesheet. Is that right? Where in the page?
I truly appreciate the response, but if you could talk to me like I’m five years old, I’d appreciate it.π

In reply to: Google finds my tag line not the site nameThanks Aitor,
Yes it is the pluggin. When I removed it, the error message went away. And I am sure that the missing text that you mentioned is the problem. I just don’t know how to fix it. I built the site, but am in no way a web designer. Any chance I could get a step by step? Maybe something to put in the source code and where to do it?
Thanks, again for all your help. Very much appreciated…Ian

In reply to: Help! Lost my logoI never said anything about a child theme. You brought it up. Maybe it was someone else that you were helping…

In reply to: Help! Lost my logoYes, I believe that it’s a customized header.php file. I don’t know what an active child theme is. I don’t believe that it’s a child theme. I think that it’s the parent theme that has been modified. I never created a child theme. I don’t know how to do that.

In reply to: Help! Lost my logoI’m using twenty eleven. I think that I got it from aamps through WordPress. I built everything offline. I got it on the site with this code
<hgroup> <img src="wp-content/uploads/2014/06/logo2.jpg"><span><a>" title="<?php echo esc_attr( get_bloginfo( 'name', 'display' ) ); ?>" rel="home"><?php bloginfo( 'name' ); ?></a></span>[Moderator Note: Please post code & markup between backticks or use the code button. In the header.
Thanks..

In reply to: Help! Lost my logoNever mind. I figured it out. Changing the permlinks did it. Which I don’t really understand. I know that it’s better for search engines, but how can I keep my logo and do that, would be the question. Thanks…
