In reply to: [BadgeOS] Post StampHi. Just to follow up, I worked with the WooThemes folks and found this easy fix:
I installed Simple Custom CSS by John Regan (plugin) and used this custom CSS:
.single-badges .post-meta {display: none;}This removes the “meta” information that the theme generates. This may be a challenge for others, depending on their themes.
Best,

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Earned Badges Showing NonearnersWell, leave it to me to find the needle in the haystack, LOL!
Thanks for your input and time. I look forward to hearing about the fix in the future.

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Earned Badges Showing NonearnersHi, Michael. Thanks for your sleuth work around this issue.
I guess my question now is, how do I prevent this from happening? What is the solution? Or is this something that will get resolved in future updates?
My “quick fix” at the moment is to “uncheck the show who has earned this achievement” in the EDIT mode of each achievement.

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Earned Badges Showing NonearnersThe site is locked down because it is a student learning site for kids under 13.
I can privately email you a guest login. Go ahead and send me your email if that helps. I will send you the names of the quests that are “misbehaving”.

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Earned Badges Showing NonearnersNo shortcode. We have the option of “showing who has earned this achievement” by checking off a box in the “edit” mode of the actual quest. When this is checked off, even whether published or unpublished, it shows users who have earned the quest (even though they have not).
We have not encountered this problem in the past and have published and created many different achievement types and examples of each.
This problem literally began after the update (whether there is correlation to that or not).
One more piece of information. I am running BadgeOS/Credly Reports. In reports, it shows no one earning those quests, even though the avatars are showing up as earned.
Thanks.

In reply to: [BadgeOS] How about WooCommerce?Well, I want to be able to sell courses and limit who can access what content, based on the course they are signed up for. At the moment, I think I am “stuck” using another plugin to get the best of badges and locking down and selling course content.

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Hidden to UserPs. The badge that I have been using test this out is called MVP. It is in the trash (but not permanently deleted)under the achievement type “Kehillah Badges”.

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Hidden to UserDone. You should get an email with the password. Thanks for going the extra mile.

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Hidden to UserThe site is live, but it is locked down with a user name and password. The work is still in development as well. The site is for student learning. The badges in question have been published, though.
I do not know php at all. I work with the staff at Learning Times on my project work. I have been troubleshooting WordPress and BadgeOS challenges on my own.
Think of me as your savvy tech educator who knows their way around, knows a little HTML, how to set up web sites, but not a coder in general.

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Hidden to UserHi. The URL looks like this:
http://ksds.tamritz.org/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=kehillah-badgesI just updated the shortcode to this:
[badgeos_achievements_list type=”kehillah-badges” limit=”20″]The badge that I selected as “hidden to user” is still appearing on the Kehillah Badges page. Oddly enough, the updated shortcode did not change what appears on the page.
I am running the latest version of BadgeOS v. 1.3.3.
Thanks for hanging in with me on this.

In reply to: [BadgeOS] Hidden to UserHi. Thanks for your response.
I am using the “type” in the shortcode. Here it is:
[badgeos_achievements_list type=kehillah badges limit=20]When I select the setting “hidden” badge, it still appears on the page that sucks in the achievement type “kehillah badges”.
So, yep, I guess the “hidden” feature is not working for me.
