In reply to: table of content in the ‘pages’ sectionyes, i can’t access the deleted pages. only the number of them shows up on top. if i could i would show you a screenshot. on top it says “Trash (10)” and underneath is says “No pages found in Trash.”
Just to let you know (even though i seems nobody is interested), the only way i was able to access the sites in order to erase them was trough the preview function of the editing interface. there i was able to see them, click on edit and then go to the option erase. again as i said before, there was no way i could access those sites through the table of content section called “seiten” or “pages”. now that i have erased them they again only show up in the number on top of the table of contents in the column ‘paperbin’ but NOT in the actual secion beneath. how is this possible? can someone please explain? i realize this has nothing to do with a specific theme. there must be some other problem.

thank you for your reply!i tried to create a website with two languages using the polylang plugin. i followed the instructions from polylang. i repeatedly erased and recreated sites after they went missing. they just didn’t show up in the table of contents or all pages section but i noticed the number of pages in the parentheses on the top of the table of contents got bigger instead of smaller. i just erased everything again, but the number says i’ve got 10 in there.
it seems like i can’t even start from scratch.
i hope this was a useful explanation as i don’t really know what else to explain.

i was just changing the theme, because i didn’t get an answer. i tried to work with the twenty seventeen theme for a long time now, but i keep having problems with it (not to say that i shouldn’t have problems since i have no idea what i am doing).was that still that twenty seventeen theme? then my answer would be, i don’t know. i wasn’t aware that i was doing that and that i was doing something wrong and that there is another way..
i would just like to have a simple theme with which i can create an english and a german version of my website. maybe you have a suggestion?
i am getting really frustrated and i posted a topic about not receiving help and asking for advice how to phrase topics to have a better chance at getting an answer. i got a reply getting accused of posting too complex issues and pretending they were simple. i had no idea that my requests were too complicated and the topic got erased without notice.
i know you guys volunteer and i really appreciate any help i can get. i am really confused about getting such a response, getting my topic erased without notice and not being able to respond back.

i just saw that the text on the “training” page is now all the way to the right. does that have anything to do with the css code, or did i accidentally change something?
also, just to try it out, a few days ago, i set a background picture. it is nowhere to be seen except on the bottom of the “training” page. what is the difference? what did i miss?thank you so much!!

3. the added code for centering menu/navigation still didn’t work. is there anything else we can do to access it?
for some reason the picture you sent showing how to align the picture looks completely different on my interface. i can go to pages but from then on nothing looks similar to your picture. there is no setting for the position of the images on the pages. instead there is a table showing the pages with links to edit them. but those links bring me to the customizer…thank you for using pictures along with your explanations. this really helps clarify things!

thank you for your fast help!!3. The name of the page and what it is, is centered now. Thank you!! but the menu and the image are not. i would also like those to be centered.
4. the menu in the mobile version is now invisible. is there a way to only color those 3 stripes?
5. i had the back to top button turned on, but it only works with the computer version, not with the mobile version.
