In reply to: Help with editing NavmenuThis works fine for my menu in the sidebar, but I can’t get it to work with the menu at the top of the page. This menu is being populated with lower-level pages. I haven’t been able to edit it’s contents.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] [Plugin: Contact Form 7] AJAX confirmation messageI don’t see any errors. The only problem that I can see is that the message telling me that the form was submitted correctly does not show up. The message is sent correctly. I’m not seeing anything with Goggle Analytics after well over 18 hours after my first test.

In reply to: cant figure out buddypressIt’s obvious that converting a theme to make it BuudyPress compatible isn’t a task that a novice like myself can complete. This does not however mean that the plugin is to blame. Anyone with even the most basic understanding of programming would realize that it would be impossible for any plugin to be able to convert every theme being used. The shear number of variable is unmanageable. The conversion obviously will require specific changes and modifications that can only be done by hand. Give it a break!

In reply to: cant figure out buddypressI’ve spent the greater part of the weekend trying to get this to work. It is obviously way beyond my skills. I am more than willing to compensate anyone who is willing to make the changes for me. We have a non-profit organization and funds are limited but I think we can be more than fair with our payment. I’m getting desperate!

In reply to: Post Installation ProblemsAs luck would have it, the problem hasn’t occurred today. I’ll drop a copy of the incorrect page as soon as it pops up again. Meanwhile I’d like to share the template file but I’m not sure which file(s) I should provide. I assume it’s not possible to drop an entire folder into the WordPress pastebin. Please tell me which file(s) to use and I’ll take care of it. I apologize for my ignorance.

In reply to: Post Installation ProblemsRVoodoo – which page do I want to use to inspect the source code — the correct result when I try to go to the Dashboard or the incorrect page that sends me to the install? Would it be better for me to post a copy of the code from both?

In reply to: How to Display Current Date Within a PostI tried the code but nothing displays in the post. After thinking about this over night, I’m beginning to think that it would be better if I could have the date of the static post change dynamically to the current date. The URL for the post is I’m using the static post to present a daily forecast showing the best fishing times for Lake Brownwood. The data in the chart is being pulled from another website.
A secondary problem I’m having is formatting the table used to present the chart. There is a white space between the chart and the dates that I’d like to remove. I can’t figure out what I’ve got wrong.
The code for the post is:

In reply to: Link to Dashboard Gives Me Installation PageDuring the last few weeks the problem still occurs. I’ve confirmed that I have replaced the files. Is anyone else having this problem?

In reply to: Link to Dashboard Gives Me Installation PageWhen I started the file transfer I discovered that there was a folder in my wordpress folded called wordpress. This folder appears to be a duplicate folder containing everything that should be in the wordpress folder. I’ve re-named it “wordpress_bac” before I deleted it to insure that there isn’t anything in it that I want/need. I’ve also re-uploaded the two folders you suggested. We’ll see what happens next.

In reply to: Link to Dashboard Gives Me Installation PageThanks! I’ll re-upload the folders. I’ll give an up-date tomorrow.

In reply to: Link to Dashboard Gives Me Installation PageWill it be safe to use the files that come with the install files? I’m assuming that I can download them and then ftp them to my server. Will this delete any critical information or are the two files just program files?

In reply to: Adding Dynamic Content From External Website.I’ve added the css to the stylesheet but it doesn’t seem to have changed anything. I’ve tried changing the setting for “font-size” to a ridiculously high value like “72” and still can’t see any changes.
