Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: connection reset wordpress 4.0I just fixed my connection reset problem by changing the theme. It seems an old and unsupported theme was causing the problem. After spending hours trying to figure out what was wrong with my server..and finding nothing in the logs :-\
Somehow, WordPress should be able to handle this in a more intuitive way…

In reply to: connection reset wordpress 4.0Also, same problem here.
I previously posted a reply to a topic here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/child-pid-13607-exit-signal-segmentation-fault-11-12
The only thing that isn’t working is displaying a single post, everything else works fine. I’m still searching for the solution…
@patty, can you find out what your host did to fix the problem in more detail?

In reply to: child pid 13607 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)This happened to me today when I upgraded to WordPress 4.0.
It only happens when I try to look at one of my posts, e.g. http://www.open.hr/2014/07/objavljene-snimke-predavanja-s-konferencije-dorscluc-2014/
Chrome displays the error:
Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data.
Error code: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSEWhile the apache error.log says it’s the Segmentation fault (11).
Older WordPress installs on 3.9.x version work fine, all other web apps also work fine, so it’s definitely something to do with WordPress 4.0. Any advice where to start looking?
Btw, this wasn’t the case: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/19068064/segmentation-fault-in-apache-with-wordpress
