Figrued it out… had it in display mode instead of code. Wonder if that might have been others’ problem?
(Usually the simple mistakes we overlook).
I’ve gone through the installation instructions, uploaded the plugin files again… still just get the <!–cal–> on the page instead of the actual calendar. I got this working on another blog no problem, don’t know what could be wrong. Went to wp-content/plugins/wp-cal/js/cal.js to make sure it was pointing to the correct folder, it is.
Is this an issue with 2.2?
I should have clarified that I know CSS goes in the stylesheet, I just wanted to also include the actual code from the sidebar.php to see if there’s any way to actually accomplish what I need to from there.
