  • I figured out that the reason it was not appearing had to do with the Upload Roles under Filters in the Shortcode Composer area under Settings for WordPress File Upload.

Now it appears in every browser.

Did you copy and paste the new Shortcode that is generated?

Your short code should start like this:

    [wordpress_file_upload uploadrole=”all”

    Hope this helps

Is it only showing up on browsers you are logged into?

If that is the case it might be the Upload Roles that is only letting the Administrator view & use the Upload form.

I checked off Select All (Including guest) and I see my form on all browers.

To get to this setting go to Settings / WordPress File Upload and then select Compose Shortcode and you will be in the General Tab. Look down and under Filters you will see Upload Roles. That is where I checked off the “Select All (including guest)

    Hope this helps

This is the way that my short code looks after I have added additional Custom Fields. Are you filling in the same information every time when you upload the fields? Did it ever work?

[wordpress_file_upload uploadrole=”all” placements=”userdata/message/title/filename+selectbutton+uploadbutton/subfolders” notify=”true” notifyrecipients=”design@superprintla.com, %userdata9%” notifysubject=”File Upload Notification” notifymessage=”Thank you for using our online file transfer center. In the Settings / WordPress File Upload

In the General Tab, what do you have selected for Filters in the Upload Roles section?

I set mine to Select all (including guests) and it appears.

I believe that is why it was not appearing when I was not logged in or using a different browser to test.

    Hope this helps,

Have you gone to Settings / WordPress File Upload to look at all the options the plugin has to offer?

Click on the Shortcode Composer button.

Go to the Additional Fields tab.

There you can set additional fields for the uploading form so that users can put their name, email.

Click the Plus symbol to add more fields.

Copy the Generated Shortcode and paste it into the page you want to have the upload form visible.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi,

I’m trying to include a upload form in a site, but it doesn’t show in Mac Firefox or Mac chrome. The upload form appears and works fine in Mac Safari.

    Thanks a lot!
