Let me clarify this for you. I have a blog in my >root directory and I have added a sub direectory called /bananas

I want to access images or php files that I have uploaded to the bananas directory but when I type http://www.domain.com/bananas/ I get a 404 error. I have even uploaded an index.php file in there to see if it was only directory browsing that was the problem but I still get a 404.

Now, this second I’ve just tried http://www.domain.com/bananas/index.php and still get 404 even though I checked everything with SmartFTP.

Weird, must be .htaccess issue.

Any ideas?
