That’s odd indeed! It has the same problem no matter what resolution. Also I tested it on a new PC laptop as well as a Powerbook…

This is a screen shot of what I’m seeing. Note the space created between the header image and the body image. This only happens when I insert the div=”home” tag.

On another related item, in Firefox, the header is hot linked, where in IE, I can’t get it to link. Ideas?

    Thanks

Good thought. But I checked it out and there’s no instances of borders used in that way. So it seems that there style info coming from somewhere other than style.css in the DirtySlipcovers theme folder…

Is there a global styling area maybe in the includes folder? Just a thought. Something is creating those links…

    Thanks

Yes, I did a search on ‘ping’ before I posted. The reason I ask is that I saw in some of the documentation where checking the ‘ping’ checkbox for each article will increase the load on the server. That’s why I was wondering exactly how it works. But if what you’re saying is true (all 130 posts shouldn’t be getting pinged), then I imagine it could be more of an issue with ping-o-matice being down.

HOWEVER, when my server seems to hang, I can’t even hit a simple 3 page site on it that is pure html, not connected to mysql. Does that suggest something different?

    Thanks

Okay, so I’m closing in on the issue… I’m able to publish to my ftp server from blogger, however when I add the template code from import-blogger.php, I can no longer publish!? The ftp connection is good, but nothing get’s written to the ftp server….

    Why would this be?

I already found the one post on this before I posted. It doesn’t help me at all other than the individual “figured it out” but didn’t give details on how…

    Any other ideas?

    Dave
