In reply to: email subscribers not notified of new postsThis issue, yes. They sent me here. Filtering rules, I’m waiting for a response from my hosting provider via ticket.
So just to be clear, most of these email subscription plugins are install and forget? Basically plug n’ play? I’m not missing some extra steps that aren’t included in the installation directions.

…the list goes on and onnone of the above are notifying subscribers of new posts. Is there an extra step I’m missing not included in the instructions for installing these plugins.
I’ve also used nifty newsletters which come to find out through their support that it requires a separate SMTP plugin which I installed and setup.
Nothing seems to work. All I want is a widget for email subscriptions and for the subscribers to be notified of new posts. I’m beyond frustrated.
