    Thank you for everyone’s help,

for anyone in the future who reads this forum,

i unloaded everything that i uploaded and started again, i made sure to unzip the wordpress file and moved all the files into the correct main website folder and then wordpress loads correctly,

Very important to get the correct files in the correct place one thing missing takes ages to fix – follow step by step guides to the T !

Again thanks heaps everyone for helping 😀

yes this is a brand new site i already have a wordpress site, which is up and running

the first site was easy to install, as yes i just used the installer, but this one has been hard and difficult, as for the second site there is no installer for wordpress with godaddy, i have had to download and upload it to the cpanel

i have a multi hosting account with godaddy and that is the problem, i cant wipe it as it would affect the rest of my webpages, different domains and webpages.

and i dont understand why there is no easy install option with godaddy with the second webpage using wordpress

so i still have lots of errors and dont know how to fix it ?

So now i have lots of errors, and i have tried reading articles on how to fix this but still struggling and don’t understand how to fix it
Its to do with the .htaccess file ?

    Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Please help me fix this, thank you

yes i am with godaddy, and still having issues

    I installed wordpress
I followed the steps of matt’s link :-
    https://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory#Using_a_pre-existing_subdirectory_install

But having trouble now with the .htaccess file.
The .htaccess file is invisible, so you may have to set your FTP client to show hidden files. If you are not using pretty permalinks, then you may not have a .htaccess file.

So i now dont understand how to get this .htaccess file.
and i have lost the access to the blogging it has forbidden or errors.

    thank you for helping
