I tried the all the above with no change.
On changing the theme to Twenty Sixteen that particular block just doesn’t show up at all, no Ajax loading spinner, just not there.The other carousels just show all the products in a block with no interactivity.
Have contacted the theme designers to see what they got but their demo page is working fine last I looked.
if you change your permalink structure to one that doesn’t include a ‘?’, then go back to Super Cache panel, you will find that you can now amend the htaccess automatically, without all the faffing about..!!
Took me a while to work out why sometimes it worked, and others not!
