In reply to: WP Table Reloaded migrationOh My God
i have just noticed for some reason that most of my tables are gone but a few are ok
on the ones missing just say no name/no desc and in the customers site where the table should be:- [table “9” seems to be empty /]
i have loads of lost tables and data and i have used my database backups yet no change in this plugin – doesnt the tables get saved when a main database backup is done?????
also on the table pages that arent working there are errors saying:-
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/mrstephe/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-table-reloaded/views/view-edit.php on line 119loads of these under data manipulation on the bad tables yet ok on those working?????
i do hope you can help etc as there is so much data from my customer that would take so long to re-input and have to guess the content etc etc as i thought the database would have held the backups
hope you can please please help as im not looking good to my customer at moment
many thanks

Any idea why in a new table the map actually goes into the sidebar even if aligned left, center or right????

You took some code out, you took out the ‘width’ so was that stopping it???
Yes it works – many thanks
if i want to put in code for the font etc, do i write a seperate piece in style.css or attach it to the code that works for the positioning?

In reply to: How to format the cells for alignment in wp-table-reloaded?forgot to say that you can also see the table below with before and after images in that wouldnt centre with 2 images per line, so had to make the table 4 cells/4 images wide to overcome the ‘non centering’ issue

In reply to: How to format the cells for alignment in wp-table-reloaded?Hi Tobias
That doesnt do anything either, i have also left the original table as it was with each cell filled etc, for you to see
Many thanks

In reply to: How to format the cells for alignment in wp-table-reloaded?Hi
The only solution i had to go with was to create a total image in photoshop and include the text either side of those little ‘hair shaft’ images, then uploaded the single image and centered it
so what would be the way to center any table on a page as i had the same issue with another table later on and had to use all my ‘before’ and ‘after’ images in one row so that it used the whole site width. I wanted to use 2 images per line/row but as i couldn’t center it again i had to place 4 images per row and go the whole width
so with your contribution – how an earth do tables get centered?
thanks

I played around with code in the css in plugin options and put this:
.wp-table-reloaded-id-3 td { width: 100%; text-align: center; }its still not right but has made a difference i feel toward the right direction
what do you think now:
http://clients.pcrepair-south.co.uk/mrstephen2010/straightening/can you see what needs adjusting?

In reply to: How to format the cells for alignment in wp-table-reloaded?Hi Tobias
Not sure what you mean.Do you mean in this case start out with 4 column table instead of 3 column table and combine all apart from one row
i can see that working but just needs 100% planning ahead before starting and if i came across an issue part way through – would i have to start again with more columns?
i got over it by ending the first table and creating a second table for that row and i shall then create a third table to finish the page with same setup as the first (ie: 2 columns)
BUT my new problem is that in my one row 4 column table i cannot get the whole lot from being bunched up in the left of the page, instead spread out centered nicely. The <div> code you give in FAQ doesnt seem to work by wrapping the table id in the page itself
any ideas
thank you
