In reply to: Backing up my WordPress websiteThanks Stern, it seemed quite straightforward.
Planning to back up all the files tomorrow and then hopefully I’ll be protected in case the site goes down. Should have done this ages ago!

In reply to: Search Engine Optimisation for my (301 redirected) WordPress websiteOK, I’ve taken a chance and upgraded it to 7.1 but the same problem is still there – cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (see http://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/libcurl-errors.html)

In reply to: Search Engine Optimisation for my (301 redirected) WordPress websiteI’ve just spoken to one.com who host the sites and they tell me ‘it is currently using 5.6 we do support PHP version up to 7.1 if you wish to upgrade’
Should I ask for an upgrade? (free)

In reply to: Search Engine Optimisation for my (301 redirected) WordPress websiteI’m not really sure what you mean but I’ve logged into my web space provider and can see it is a .mysql & also “PHP & Database – MariaDB” – is that what you mean?
Absolutely wonderful! Thanks so much Steve, it’s working great now.
Simple when you know how (as you did), but I had wasted so much time recently on it.
The address is www dot centralbelfastapartments dot com/calendar/
I simply dropped the iframe into a code block on the page.
Thanks, I’ve moved it to the Support Β» Themes and Templates forum as I don’t have access to the purchase license documentation required.
However, on a general basis could I ask the question again please? Is it possible to add this clone to each of the other 5 pages on most themes?

In reply to: SEO – Search Engine Optimisation for my WordPress websiteGreat, thanks all. I’ve got Yoast installed and hopefully configured along with an upload via FTP to the root of the site for google verification.
It’s reporting ‘Good job! We could detect no serious SEO problems.’ but other than title and a few other odds and ends it didn’t ask for key words, etc. Maybe I’m living in the past thinking of these? It didn’t even ask for the type of business I’m in (accommodation)

In reply to: SEO – Search Engine Optimisation for my WordPress websiteI’m totally new to WordPress and don’t even know how to install a plugin yet π
I’ve some experience in coding HTML but this is pretty new. I’ll take a look at the tutorial but I’m wondering how I know if any sort of work has been carried out on SEO?
Theres’s nothing in the list of plugins to suggest there has been but is there any other way of checking? When I google check the site it’s certainly NOT the sort of meta data I’d like to see.
The link you have provided brings me back to this forum? Would you please check this again. Thanks
