It helped, removed the old old and installed the new version, entered the keys again and it worked, even after upgrading to the latests again.
So in the end I’m not sure what made it fail. Could it be an upgrade mangled the keys?

The backup itself works perfectly fine, only the upload fails
No, the account is directly with AWS / Amazon, and as I said, it worked until a few days ago without any issues. Was really happy how easy it was to configure.
