Thanks for that. Having checked with my host, they can restore my web hosting or database to a previous date for a fee.
Although, they’ve asked me to confirm what I need restoring. If they restore my web hosting will that take my site back to the previous version of wordpress, and therefore back to a working site? Also, would I need the database backup as well?
Again, any advice appreciated.
Thanks a lot for that. I corrected functions.php through my host’s file manager and it’s working now.
