Thanks for the help, squill1959! The calendar API was on, and I added a slash in the referer. Still no good. But then I regenerated the API, and now it’s working. 🙂

I’m having the same problem described above with version 1.4.5. The widget that is supposed to show upcoming events wasn’t loading the calendar. I saw a spinning wheel. I tried the suggestions above, and now I’m not seeing the spinning wheel or the calendar. Please let me know what I’m doing wrong. It’s worked for the last three years. Thank you!
* I created an API key
* I changed my calendar ID to match my email address
* I regenerated the API key.
