In reply to: Update in categories/tagcloud widget with future postsI’m happy to have been useful to WordPress.
I read your comment on the Trac Ticket but I’m not expert enough on WordPress “inside” to be able to fully understand your explanation.
Did I undertstand well that this is an incorrect behaviour and it will be fixed in the next releases?thanks

In reply to: Update in categories/tagcloud widget with future postsI did not selected any of the options, I simply needed the list of categories (… obviously with at least 1 associated post).
I can give you an additional hint.
After editing and saving the (only) post belonging to the category (after the publication date) the list of the category widget was updated by wordpress and the category is now displayed.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Update in categories/tagcloud widget with future postsThis is not exactly what I was experiencing. I was not printing the count of posts so I don’t know if it is correct or not.
The fact is that if I have an empty category and I write a post belonging to it with a future timestamp the category is not shown in the widget neither before the publication time (I think the count is 0) nor after it (I think the count should be 1)
