Now my subscription confirmation emails seem to getting hung up somewhere. Readers have complained that they have tried to subscribe, but are not receiving the confirmation email in which they are supposed to click “activate” to confirm their subscription. As a result, they are not receiving the free e-book I’ve promised them. ugh. It is a mess. This is not the first time that subscription emails have gotten hung up somewhere and had to be fixed. I am finding my Jetpack experience very frustrating.

So to recap:
1) Jetpack Site Stats does not seem to be properly tracking visitors to my blog. Just ONE example from my blog (there are others): Jetpack records 274 visits to a particular article while the social media share buttons at the end of the article record 305 shares. I am pretty sure I do not have a 100% share rate, and even that could not account for all of the shares. So how many visitors have I had? This is making it difficult for me to track growth and make proper plans for my upcoming year (my year starts in Aug). 2) Jetpack powered subscription confirmation emails seem to be getting caught up somewhere. They are not in spam or junk folders. That has already been checked. Not being able to deliver on my free e-book promise (the link has been added to the confirmation email) is not cool and lends my blog zero credibility.

I started this thread 2 weeks ago and have yet to get a response. I hope someone looks into this soon. I would like to keep Jetpack as my subscription plugin and stats plugin, but so far my Jetpack experience has been on again, off again frustrating. If my frustration is because I am a total dork and I am just missing it somewhere, please let me know that too.

It has been one month since I last posted. I am still having the same problem. Some users of my site who are trying to subscribe say that they are not receiving confirmation emails. Others says that they have received the emails, opened them, and clicked the confirmation link, but they do not show up on my subscriber list. I would very much appreciate some help with this issue. How many website users am I losing because my subscription process is too frustrating?
