In reply to: [Sola Support Tickets] Settings Not SavingI was finding that none of the settings in the free version would save for me.
After the upgrade, they all worked, so perhaps it was just a glitch.
In the pro version, there are a number of disappointing bugs.
For me, the most important one is that even with setting the ticket to private, ALL tickets are viewable as archives by anyone if they do a search for them.
The second problem is that when set a ticket is set to private, the user/owner of the ticket cannot see it in their list of tickets in the support page, they can only see a list of their tickets if they are set to public…
When you do see a list of tickets (by searching), if one is marked solved, the title has the word solved in it repeatedly over about 7 times.
The issue for me is that the private tickets are available to everyone if you make the search box available. You can stop this by using the wordpress private post setting, but this is another manual step that should be taken care of by the plugin, not by having to go into the settings and switch it on for every ticket.
Generally, it seems quite nice, but as I say, the core function is not stable enough to be released as a premium version and considering I have still had not a single response to my support requests yet, I am more than a little disappointed.

In reply to: [Sola Support Tickets] Settings Not SavingThis is a bug of the free version, none of the settings that are advertised as free will save for me. I upgraded to the premium version and these settings now save, however, I have a lot of serious bugs in the premium version.
I would advise users to hold off buying the premium version for now until it has moved from beta stage, as currently it is pretty much broken. Unfortunately.
I have also disappointingly received no support replies for any of my queries yet.

In reply to: [Absolute Privacy] No mail sent after new user approvalI have this issue too…
Hi Peter,
The main Page Cache is Disk Enhanced, but the Object Cache was on Disk (no enhanced or other option available).
I had tried emptying caches etc, but nothing stops it from happening except disabling it.
Thanks again, Andrew
Should anybody else be suffering from this, I resolved the issue by deselecting Object Cache in W3 Total Cache

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Plugin/theme updates not working with W3 TC activeOK,
If anybody else should come across this problem, I solved it by deselecting Object Cache.
The very helpful team at W3 Edge are not sure just yet why this might cause the issue.
Hi,
false alert, sorry!
I have just recreated this problem on another site of mine, I have the same issue, but deactivating AIOSEOP doesn’t solve it, so please don’t worry about this clash!

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Plugin/theme updates not working with W3 TC activeHi,
This is still a problem for me, I have to de-activate W3 total Cache before I update any plugins otherwise, they appear to update correctly but then there is always a message saying that I have an old version that needs to be updated.
In otherwords, W3 Cache seems to be caching the older versions of the plugin or at least making WordPress think that they are older versions…
Perhaps its just me with this bug as I see nobody else with the same issue?

In reply to: [MailPoet Gravity Forms Add-on] Default value for checkboxHi Again,
Is there a hook/filter etc that can be put in the functions.php to do this perhaps?
Thanks, Andrew

In reply to: [MailPoet Gravity Forms Add-on] Default value for checkboxHi,
I have this problem too. however, I have a dynamic theme, that doesn’t have a standard footer.php.
It seems as though the plugin should do this as there is the option to have it default to checked, yet it doesn’t save, is it possible to have this work on a later update?
Many thanks!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] SSL Checkout now broken with 2.2.1no, still broken,
I have narrowed it down to the ‘force http when leaving the checkout’ setting.
With this unchecked, all is well, but this wrecks the rest of the site as it does not go back to http!!
Please can you help fix this asap please!?
Thanks
