Site was crashing even after adding <meta http-equiv=”X-UA-Compatible” content=”IE=….” /> tag (googled) for compatibility….and I did notice Compatibility mode issue (after installing IE8).
The only thing I did to stop IE from crashing is DISABLING all the add-ons! But I am still unable to understand whether this was wordpress’s problem, or IE’s or add-ons’? Is there any way to make sure that this problem does not occur again on anyone’s PC?
Ok I tried both the options suggested.
-Deactivated all the plugins – still crashes (can’t even get the glimpse of the site).
-Switched to wordpress’s default theme – still nothing changed.
How & what did you notice about forcefully rendering pages?
