Thanks so much – this is exactly what i was looking for. My only problem is that the subdomain install doesn’t exactly work the way I want it to with my host. I can’t do wild card DNS, but it is a small price to pay – this plugin saves a ton of time.
I am having the same problem. I’ve tried a bunch of plug-ins but can’t find one that will generate new sites with the same theme & content as the parent site.
For the project I originally posted about I ended up just using the custom date field to sort the events. Not quite what I was hoping for.
But for a recent project I found this plugin – Full Throttle Calendar. For my purposes it fit the bill, and the short code widgets really saved a lot of time for me and my client.
