1 – Great, I can have 4 fields per row.
2 – I looked at other form makers, and they call this a repeater. It allows someone ordering goods to add an extra line to the form to be able to buy extra items. You can do this?
For the conditional logic, I am still not sure that it will work for me.
Example. I sell two categories of products.
cars
bikesFirst menu – quantity
Second menu:
Bike
CarsThird menu – this menu would be populated with different options, depending on which was chosen in the second menu:
If I choose bikes – the next option wil be: 1,2 or 3 wheels.
If I shoose cars, it will be 3 or 4 wheels.Fourth menu – this menu would be populated with different options, depending on which was chosen in the third menu:
If I choose 1 wheel bike – I can then choose red or blue
If I choose 2 wheel bike – I can choose pink or yellow
If I choose 3 wheel bike – I can choose white or blackIf I choose 3 wheel car – I can choose orange or magenta
If chose 4 wheel car – then I can choose mauve or sky blueMeaning, the Third and fourth menus are not static, they change to match the options available for the previous menu choice. I am not sure if this is possible.
If this is unclear, I’d rather speak to someone to explain this on the phone. Text messages are limiting and do not allow to explain this very well.

On the demo you have lots of buttons to change the view and the color.
How can you choose this with th eplug in downloaded? How does one see this when using the free downlaodable plug in? How do we choose the viewing on th euser end?

Thanks for confirming that it is possible. I understand that entering in the various menu choices for the conditional logic will be extra work, but it will make my project work better.
I have a few questions:
1 – I need a fourth column. How can I add this? The online help say that there is a limit of 3 columns. My first column is quantity, and next three are choices pertaining to product details. I need 4 columns.
2 – I am making an order form. I need to start with, we’ll say’, 5 lines, and have an option to press a button and a new line will appear to allow for an added item to be added. How can I do this?
3- I looked at the condition logic and tried a but read a little more, but I am not sure how it works and how it will work for me.
a – I set up three columns. I need the first column to always be there. The second column will depend on the answer given for the column left it. But, when I try using conditions, I only see a condition for the column to the right of the one I am trying to manipulate.
b – The logic you present seems to be a logic to turn something on or off. While I do want it turn on or off, I rather need that the choice given in the first column will determine which of the three menus will appear in the next column (to the right of the first one). It is less a choice of show or hide, but more a logic of depending on my choice in column 1, column two will end up with 1 of 3 menus. How can I acheive this?Thanks
I took the time to try the plug in, and with a few tries it kind fo does what I want.
I am trying to make an order form. Your conditional logic kind of works.
I want a form that can:
1 – will adapt to the number of items the client wants – for example, gibe a starting amount of 10 lines. Then, when the last line fills up, a new one is made, or there is a button to add a new line
2 – Each line as able to add any product from my catalog – so it ends up being a tree like shcema.
Exaple
first option – quantity – this is the sae for all, and no contaion for the next one to appear
second option – category selction – ie. rugs, tables, chairs
third option – sub category – rugs (round, square, oval), tables (wood, glass, metal), chairs(leather, wood, plastic)The choice of category, would force the subcategory fo the category to show up.
The subcategory would force the right sub-sub-category to appear with its options.
Is this possible?

I worked through the back up procedure. I can make a back up and it resides on the server.
But, the transfer to dropbox seems ot fail. Log says:

I create a new website with an empty main folder by adding the wordpress files. The site loads fine and i can log in. FIne.
I add the multi site text. They the error happen. During the loading after the adding of the multi site text, it says that during the the reload. It seems to do a practice adding of a subdmain. But, it says it fails. The subdomain doe snot work.
word press says that future subdomains that are created will not work either.Then, when I try making a new subdomain, the main domain works, but the subdomain doe snot work.

In reply to: multi-site – dns issue after multisite activatedAfter I erased all the contents of the main website folder, I installed WP in the newly emptied folder..
It was not install in a folder or some place else.
I did not try making a subdomain when this happened. This, from what I understood from the error, was a test that word press does when you activate multisite. My subdomain site I made, seemed to have failed the test. Then, when I went to look at it, it displays a generic debian message saying that apache is working.
But, there is supposed to be a web page/site.

Yes, a completely clean install.
When I say “it”, I mean the installer. It said in a message that I did not copy, and do not know how to get it back, that it tried making a test subdomain and it failed.
Due to this, it said that the subdomains will likely not work.
And, they do not work.
I hope this clears it up a bit.

I have heard about this. But, I am do not know how to do this.
But, one piece of information.
The LAN has not changed at all, expect for the server that died. I replaced it with a new one and changed all the port forwarding to keep it accessible to the outside world.
But, as the DNS, I am not quite sure where this would be done.
The server with the websites? All the other websites work fine, except this one, so the DNS must be configured right fr the other 3 websites, but only this one has an issue.

In this install, I used the wget command to download the files to my server.
Tonight, I downloaded word pres to my desk top, and then uploaded it.
It worked fine!
While I made it work, I am not sure how and what the firt nstall did wrong.
Why did using the wget command mess things up?

I created the new WP site n the folder of an existing WP site.
I can easily transfer files to and from the initial WP site. But, once i enter folder containing the new site, ftp transfer will not work.
I use FileZilla
