I have apache2 configured currently with php4, and that has a memory limit set to 64MB.

I did install the wp-memory-usage plugin…hadn’t seen that one before. I like it.

I had gone through and cleared caches, cookies, etc, but what ended up doing the trick for me was what a post on a different thread suggested….simply update a little at a time. I was trying to go from 2.6.1 to 2.8.4 in one jump, and it wasn’t happy with that.

I then updated from 2.6.1 to 2.7 with no problems, then from 2.7 to 2.8…no problems, then from 2.8 to 2.8.4, and everything is happy.

I guess I will keep more on top of it, and not let so many updates go by.
