In reply to: images loaded onto home page come up too largeI have updated some larger images but it hasn’t fixed it. thanks for your input. I might have to wait till next week when the designer is able to see the problem. if you have any other ideas I’d appreciate them!

I didn’t change anything in the code to my knowledge. It’s very weird.I just deleted the images that were on there and replaced them with others.
However, the original images were much larger….I had uploaded the wrong size and i wonder if they were somehow set on that page using the large size which was around 1500 pixels in height for some of them.
i might try uploading some larger images and replace the ones up there now and see how that looks….Forum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: images loaded onto home page come up too largeIt’s all a bit of a mess as I had him change the background color from black to white, hence the strange color of the font, but here is the home page with the problem showing, hopefully……

The first image comes up a reasonable size, then zooms in, and the second is a little soft focus as the images are not meant to be viewed this large on the site.

In reply to: images loaded onto home page come up too largehmmm, i don’t know enough about it really. it will be the home page for my website which is being set up by a graphic designer friend. but he is away right now and I am doing some trouble shooting on my own. he had loaded some images I’d provided and they were perfectly fine on the page, which is the first page of the site, with a drop down menu from which to navigate.
I wanted to try some other images but when i loaded them on this problem arose.
