@hannesw, You can skip installation cost as you can handle it like any other wp plugins. Ioncube loaders are free and widely available with every hosting provider now a days. Just check with you hosting how to enable it in case it is not default before purchase. For any more question kindly contact us here.
Types custom post is not supported in free edition, only CPT UI plugin is supported.

No, it is still in development pipeline only.
Check your csv by opening it in a spread sheet editor. Ensure and fix the full path with extensions for missing images. Also check the images are downloadable from given location.
