In reply to: Can't find my RSS feed?!I had checked that page in the documentation before posting & had tried each of those options in Feedburner but they all returned an error, hence my post here for more ideas
Having read your posts I went back & tried @esmi’s url again, & even though it auto-filled (proving to me I wasn’t going nuts, and had tried it!), this time it worked 🙂
Frustrating but at least it works & I can move on, thank you both!
The only thing I’ve done in between is add new posts, having not added anything for about a year (it’s a website in development that got put on hold), so maybe it just needed some activity to kcik start things? I’m just posting that here in case it’s part of the solution & someone else has this problem.

In reply to: Import WP XML file loses encoded contentAh, I’ve answered my own question by doing just that, and then selecting “download and import file attachments” and my XML import worked fine.
Sorry you’ve had problems, and hope someone can resolve it for you soon.

In reply to: Import WP XML file loses encoded contentHi docjohn
I’m sorry, I don’t have an answer for you, but I’m hoping you might be able to clarify something for me – in WordPress 3.0.1, where there is no simple import option anymore, do we have to select “WordPress” and install the WordPress plugin in order to import an XML file? I’m assuming you know the answer as you used some method to do your import!
Thanks 🙂

In reply to: Make post 'sticky' to top of 'Recent' listExtra info:
The post I want to make sticky is “Freeshare – current items for collection” as new items go on there all the time, but I don’t want to create separate posts for each new item. Once they’re taken I delete them from the post, and so I don’t end up with lots of deleted posts (which I would if I put each new item in a new post). At the moment I just change the Published date to the current date & time to put it back to the top, but I often forget and have to go back in later to do this. Would be great to just avoid this altogether.
