You have categories that you don’t want anyone to see? What’s the purpose or requirement behind that?
Indeed that is exactly what he wants. I told him if he wants that, then he should make a seperate installation of wordpress, and use that for the articles he doesn’t want the general public to see. Making sure not to link to it in the main site’s navigation (not wordpress).
Either that or make a forum, so he can set permissions on certain boards/cagegories.

Great. Well that answers 1 question. How about if I want a category to NOT have an RSS feed or not be viewable by the public.
