Just one thing. Which style.css do I need to edit?
I can’t find one simply style.css?
Thanks.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Why can't I have the site working my way?I have tried: wordpress-navigation-list-plugin-navt
Which I found in another post. This didn’t work either. In fact the help panel that pops up sits so high in the page that the close button is covered and I had to close the entire page to get rid of it, so having to start over again.
Can anyone point me to a solution for this? I just want to add an item to the navbar.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Why can't I have the site working my way?I appreciate your taking time to reply, and with the greatest of respect, if I could understand your answer I probably wouldn’t have asked the question.
“Point” the menu link? I cannot see anything in either the link or menu sections that I may point anything at so as to create a new menu item in the below the header menu. As much as I try I cannot find a category archive page, not in the sense of the word archive as I know it.
I have uninstalled WP at least 6 times through frustration over various things, yet I build websites from scratch that have dynamic features that should be far more complex than playing about with WP. My problems stem from the Tech speak that people choose to use to novices like me whenever I have a problem and the strange way the posts, categories, pages bits are structured. Why not posts within pages, within categories?
Once again I am grateful for your answer but I am no further forward.
