i dont think that you could get banned by just being an affiliate of Amazon. it must be something else. If i may ask, are you doing paid posts? or sponsored post and the like? because if you do, Google does not like such.
the best thing you can do is write to google and ask for your site’s reconsideration in the SERPs. you can do so by going to your google webmaster tools page (sign up for one if you don’t have an account yet).
