There is a solution. In the XDForum Admin under the Manage tab, make sure the Create Pages Link is set to No. Then, get the Angsuman’s Permanent Redirect (here). Make a page and use the redirect custom field set to redirect the forum to the correct address. Works like a charm on my site (here – click on forum).
